— Captain Miduerdo Gardium —

Female Half-Elf Warlord, age 71, lawful good, bisexual, 5'6"

Captain Miduerdo Gardium is a fiery half-elf warlord who has been sailing the oceans and seas since she could stay on both feet out at sea.  She is loud, boisterous, optimistic but a realist when needed, and a gregarious leader.

She never backs down from a good gamble.  Word on the street is that she obtained her current merchant ship through a gamble with the infamous Captain George Griff.

Captain Gardium may tell a lot of tall tales about her origins, but never confirms or denies how she acquired The Scurvy Wagon.

Barry is a faithful sailor on The Scurvy Wagon.  His job is mostly handling the sails and tying knots.  He has a reputation of being a softie and as such, usually helps out stowaways to much of the captain's chagrin.

If you befriend Barry, which admittedly is not hard to do, you can expect to have a loyal friend who will literally die for you.

He began sailing as a young boy as a stowaway himself.  He then learned that The Scurvy Wagon was looking for more deckhands and he immediately applied.  His superior knotting skills earned him a spot on Captain Gardium's crew.

To this day, he keeps an old dog chew toy in his quarters to remind him of his childhood dog and the life he left behind.  He fantasizes about the day he might return and prove to his parents that he amounted to something.  But deep down, Barry knows that he will never win over their love, and so he does not prioritize a homecoming.

Priestess Penny is the priestess for Wenster City.  She was summoned to Penta to help heal some of the villagers from a mysterious and sudden illness.  Her dead body was brought back to town a week later, covered in sheets.

The Wenster City coroner/medic advised the monks at the local temple to not bury her in the orchard, as was customary.  The medic urged the monks to perform a different burying ritual.

She was set off to sea and set ablaze in what was known as the "Sea Burial" that has not been used in centuries.
